Sometimes things don’t always go to plan in Disney World.
Take this past week for example. Hurricane Ian made its way towards Florida which caused several major theme parks to close for a couple of days including Disney World, Universal Orlando, Legoland Florida, and more. Some theme parks even had to extend their closures. Now, the Disney World parks are open but one specific ride has temporarily closed.
We were walking around Disney’s Hollywood Studios today when we noticed that Slinky Dog Dash was closed.
There is currently no wait time listed on the app.
We spoke with a Cast Member who did not have an estimate of when the ride would come back up, but they did say the ride was experiencing technical difficulties.
UPDATE: As of 1PM, Slinky Dog Dash has reopened with a 90 minute wait time.
We’ll continue to monitor the situation over in Hollywood Studios. In the meantime, we’re over at EPCOT for the 40th anniversary celebrations — follow along here!
