Walking in Disney World may not be the method of transportation you think of first, but parts of Disney World are very walkable.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort are both Magic Kingdom resorts that are on the Magic Kingdom Resort Monorail line, but the resorts are close enough together that you could walk between them as well. That’s just become a lot easier because the new walkway between the resorts is now open!
This new walkway is replacing the existing walkway that is currently unavailable due to being behind the Polynesian Resort’s DVC Villas construction walls.

We walked the whole trail today to see what it was like. While the scenery is different from that on the primary trail, you still get to see some parts of Disney you may not pay attention to regularly.

You don’t have to worry about being lost either, because there are plenty of signs to lead you both directions!

This is a great way to get between the resorts or their monorail stations if you need to.

A map would be helpful because we were on the street after we left the Polynesian. We got there, but it seem like the wrong way to me.
Polynesian is my first choice for Monorail hotels.
