A New Walkway Between Disney’s Polynesian Village and Grand Floridian Resorts Is Open!

Walking in Disney World may not be the method of transportation you think of first, but parts of Disney World are very walkable.

Trail signs in Disney World

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort are both Magic Kingdom resorts that are on the Magic Kingdom Resort Monorail line, but the resorts are close enough together that you could walk between them as well. That’s just become a lot easier because the new walkway between the resorts is now open!

This new walkway is replacing the existing walkway that is currently unavailable due to being behind the Polynesian Resort’s DVC Villas construction walls.

Off we go!

We walked the whole trail today to see what it was like. While the scenery is different from that on the primary trail, you still get to see some parts of Disney you may not pay attention to regularly.

Look at the view!

You don’t have to worry about being lost either, because there are plenty of signs to lead you both directions!

And you can turn around and head right back the other way!

This is a great way to get between the resorts or their monorail stations if you need to.

Gets you right where you need to go!

The Polynesian Village Resort is currently undergoing a large construction project that we’re keeping a close eye on, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest construction updates!
