You Can Now Buy Buzz Lightyear STAMPS!

Okay, Disney stamp collectors, we’ve got some news for you!

You’ve probably already collected some fun Disney-themed stamps. We’ve seen everything from Star Wars droid stamps to Disney Villains stamps to stamps celebrating Pixar! A new stamp is about to be released, though, that could take your letters “To Infinity and Beyond.”

The U.S. Postal Service is releasing Buzz Lightyear stamps, dedicated to the most famous Space Ranger, Buzz Lightyear! A special dedication ceremony was recently held to celebrate the stamps’ release at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

The new forever stamps are called “Buzz Lightyear: From Infinity to Forever.” At the dedication ceremony, Isaac Cronkhite, the Postal Service’s chief logistics and processing operations officer and executive vice president and dedicating official said:

“Buzz Lightyear captured our hearts and imaginations in the first Toy Story movie. He taught us about heroism, loyalty, and perseverance. And now he is the star of his own feature film — ‘Lightyear.’ Just like Buzz, the Postal Service has also looked to the stars for inspiration.

“We have many stamps honoring NASA’s accomplishments, including the space shuttle, and the Apollo program that took us to the moon. And then there are our STEM Education stamps that emphasize the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math. The Postal Service takes great pride in honoring the very best of the nation through our stamp program. And Buzz Lightyear certainly fits that description. The Postal Service is proud to have worked with Disney and Pixar to bring the Go Beyond Forever stamp to both customers and Buzz fans.”

Today also marks the official release of Lightyear on Disney+, so it really huge day for Buzz Lightyear fans.
