What’s your favorite restaurant in Disney Springs?

There are a lot of different options from sit-down restaurants like Jaleo, to walk-up windows like Morimoto Asia Street Food. And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, there are tons of choices for that, too (almost half-pound cookies at Gideon’s Bakehouse, anyone?). A popular Disney Springs quick service restaurant underwent construction for an expansion, and now the new area is finally open! Let’s check it out.
Chicken Guy! at Disney Springs is a restaurant that’s all about — you guessed it — chicken. It’s not uncommon to see the line out the door at this location, especially on busy days, so it’s nice to see the restaurant expanding its seating. This Chicken Guy! is the flagship location for the restaurant partnership between Guy Fieri and restauranteur Robert Earl.

The restaurant expanded into the gift shop of Planet Hollywood, which is located next door. There is outdoor seating as well as seating inside. Let’s take a look at the new indoor seating areas!

The new dining area is nice and spacious with lots more tables and chairs.

There are high-top tables, as well as lower tables and even some booths for all the booth fans out there.

In the new seating area, there are also two Coca-Cola machines where you can get your drink of choice.

The expansion also included some new bathrooms, though they were both out of order when we visited.

The decor is, of course, bright and fun with reds and yellows everywhere to match the theming of the restaurant and Guy Fieri himself.

Hopefully this expanded seating area makes it easier to find a table at this restaurant! Looking for other quick options for a bite to eat in Disney Springs? D-Luxe Burger serves up gourmet hamburgers with unique toppings and you can even get chicken or plant-based burgers, as well. Or you could head to Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza and build your own pizza with a wide array of toppings.

For dessert, you can try unique ice cream flavors from Salt & Straw (their menu changes every month!) or go to Amorette’s Patisserie for some pastries and sweets. We’re always on the lookout for more Disney news, so make sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest.

We ate at the Chicken Guy just once because of all of the hype. Never again. It was worse than fast food.
