An EXCLUSIVE Dining Deal is Returning to Select Disney World Restaurants

When you think of Orlando, do you immediately think of theme parks?

We’re sure a lot of you do, but there’s actually a ton of other stuff to do in the city! And, there’s a lot of things you can do on theme park property without a theme park ticket. And now, a special event is returning to the city soon!

Visit Orlando’s Magical Dining is coming back for its 17th year! Beginning August 26th, more than 100 restaurants will be offering three-course, prix fixe dinner menus for $40 per person, according to The Orlando Sentinel. $1 from each meal will go to a local nonprofit — The Able Trust, which helps expand employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Visit Orlando will also award $2,000 to a local nonprofit supporting workforce development in each of Orange County’s six commission districts.

Six of the participating restaurants this year were also on Orlando’s inaugural Michelin Guide selection — Four Flamingos — A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen, Kabooki Sushi, Maxine’s on Shine, The Ravenous Pig, The Strand, and Z Asian Vietnamese.

There are also some restaurants at Disney World and Universal Orlando that are participating this year! In Disney World, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill and Jaleo at Disney Springs are participating, and so is Il Mulino at The Walt Disney World Swan and Todd English’s Bluezoo at The Walt Disney World Dolphin.

Over at Universal, Mama Della’s Ristorante at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Islands Dining Room at Loews Royal Pacific Resort, Amatista Cookhouse at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, and The Kitchen at the Hard Rock Hotel are all participating.

Menus will be updated as the date gets closer, but right now, 16 restaurants have vegan menus, 30 have vegetarian selections, and 39 have gluten-free selections.

Visit Orlando’s Magical Nights is also back, which offers up staycation add-ons for post-meal hotel or resort stays with savings exclusively for locals and Florida residents.
