NEWS: Reopening DATE for Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage in Disneyland

There’s a lot of exciting things happening in Disneyland!

There’s tons of new food options for the summer (fried chicken ice cream, anyone?), plus a new meet-and-greet for the recent Pixar movie Lightyear, and a popular restaurant is now accepting dining reservations again! If that wasn’t enough, Disney just announced that a Disneyland ride that has been closed for refurbishment, now has a reopening date!

We now know that Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage will be reopening on July 25th. While it was closed for refurbishment, the ride was repainted, and had more coral, kelp, and seaweed added.

When the ride returns, it will be with enhanced special effects and lighting, plus Hank, the septopus from Finding Dory has been added to the ride, as well! You can take a look at everything that Cast Members have been doing behind the scenes in this video shared by Disney.

In case you didn’t know, Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage takes guests on a journey underwater to find Nemo. The ride was supposed to reopen in 2021, but the closure was extended. Guests will be able to ride it once again on July 25th.
