Disney Shares Release Date for NEW Merida Designer Doll

The Disney Designer Collection of dolls has shown our favorite princesses in a new, stunning (and expensive!) way!

So far, we’ve gotten the chance to see Jasmine, Pocahontas, Ariel, Mulan, Tiana, and Aurora in this gorgeous collection that celebrates Disney princesses! Disney just announced the next doll that will be added to the collection, and she looks just as fierce as her personality!

On shopDisney’s Twitter account, they announced that the next doll in the collection would be Merida! Merida trades in her signature loose-curl look for a new updo (with the curls still included, of course). If she costs the same as her fellow princesses in the collection, we expect she’ll be around $129.99.

Merida will arrive on April 12th, at 7AM PST. Merida’s designer is Wes Jenkins, who paved his own path for his artistic journey — much like Merida.

Merida can be found rocking a fun dress that features a chain with a bow-and-arrow accent, light armor, and a pattern that resembles a kilt! Like the other princesses in the collection, we expect her to come with a display stand, as well as a collectors window display box.

The shopDisney site shows that Moana, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Belle are expected to join the collection as well. While you wait for Merida’s arrival, make sure you check back here for the latest Disney news!
