If you’re not a Disney+ subscriber, then you’re SERIOUSLY missing out.

The past two years have been a steady stream of awesome (and incredibly popular) series and movies that somehow always tend to get the people on the internet talking. And going into the future, the success of the past two years is allowing Disney to take on a lot more projects! So what’s new in entertainment and media news this week? We’re sharing the full list of announcements that you missed!
Coming to Disney+
First up, let’s discuss the important things coming to Disney+ soon! On Wednesday, February 9th, the finale episode of The Book of Boba Fett will premiere. The last six episodes have led up to a pretty big event, and we’re excited to check it out!

Also landing on Disney+ this week is the Marvel special Assembled — The Making of Hawkeye. There have been several episodes of this series so far, each sharing a behind-the-scenes look at a specific Marvel project.

And you wanna know what’s coming to Disney+ this Halloween? The Sanderson Sisters! That’s right, Hocus Pocus 2 will premiere on the streaming service on October 31st, and we can’t wait!

This week, we also got the trailer for a new documentary called More Than Robots. The Disney+ original explores the robotics industry and will premiere on March 18th.

And finally, we found out this week that Elizabeth Mitchell will be reprising her role as Carol Calvin/Mrs. Clause in the new The Santa Clause series that’s coming to Disney+. We already knew that Tim Allen would be coming back, but we’re excited to find that some of our other favorite characters will be making an appearance as well.

Other Movie and Series News
And besides the latest deets from Disney+, there’s plenty of other movie and series news to share this week. First up, Variety reports that Jason Momoa has officially joined the Fast & the Furious franchise. He will be in the 10th movie installment, although his role hasn’t yet been revealed. Over the years, the movie series has reeled in some pretty big names to play major characters, with everyone from Helen Mirren to Kurt Russel to John Cena.

Encanto continues to steal the show on the internet, with “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” topping the charts. This week, the movie hit another milestone when it earned a PGA Awards nomination for Outstanding Producer of Animated Theatrical Motion Pictures.

And finally, we’ve got some big musical news coming up for Hulu! According to CNET, the creators behind Frozen, Dear Evan Hansen, and Hamilton are all teaming up to take on the 8-episode series, titled Up Here. It will be a rom-com set in New York in 1999. According to the synopsis, it will be about a couple falling in love who have to fight “the treacherous world of memories, obsessions, fears, and fantasies that lives inside their heads.” We can’t wait!
