How to See a Disney Character OUTSIDE Disney World (No, Not Times Square)

Disney’s new movie Encanto is about an ordinary girl who goes on a mission to save her family’s magical house.

We’ve seen plenty of nods to this movie in the form of new merchandise at Disney World, special events at select theaters, and even a happy meal toy at McDonalds! Now, there’s one place you can go to see both the hero from this story and the film itself, and no — it’s not in Disney World.

The El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles is showing Encanto in both Spanish and English right now.

But that’s not all that you’ll see if you visit this theatre to watch Encanto. El Capitan announced that you’ll get to see Mirabel (the hero in the story) live on stage before the movie!
