Throughout our many visits to the theme parks, we’ve seen all kinds of unexpected things!
We’ve seen ride closures, weather issues, and unexpected power outages. Today, one of those power outages has hit Universal Orlando resort, temporarily closing a popular section of the park!
Right now, the rides in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Hogsmeade at Universal’s Islands of Adventure are currently unavailable. All three attractions (Flight of the Hippogriff, Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, and Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure) are listed as “closed” in the Universal Orlando app.
We reached out to Universal on Twitter and were told that portions of the resort are currently closed due to power outages. If you’re looking to visit the Wizarding World today, keep checking the Universal Orlando app for the latest news and information.
