Our Favorite Margaritas in Disney World Are Shrinking…But The Cost Isn’t.

One of our favorite spots to visit in EPCOT is La Cava del Tequila!

La Cava del Tequila

On a recent trip to EPCOT, however, we noticed a seemingly small change at La Cava del Tequila that may actually be a bigger deal than you think!

We visited La Cava del Tequila this afternoon to enjoy a refreshing El Diablo (extra spicy, of course!), when we noticed something seemed a little different with our cup!

Hmmm…something seems off.

As it turns out, La Cava is currently serving their margaritas in SMALLER cups! For comparison, here’s their standard cup back when we ordered an Avocado Margarita on a pervious visit:

And here’s what the current cup looks like! Cast Members told us that the new cups are 2 oz smaller. It totally felt like we were holding one of those smaller cups you’re given at the EPCOT festivals!

On top of that, we still payed the same price — $16 plus tip.

We could totally tell the difference in size!

Cast Members told us that the smaller cups sizes are due to a supply issue with their normal cups.

We’ll keep an eye on La Cava del Tequila in the coming weeks to see if the regular size cups return once their supply issue is resolved. In the meantime, be sure to follow along for more of the latest news and updates from around Disney World!

“Oh that’s ok then. Here’s my credit card. Makes total sense”

Wonder if there was a bigger cup they could have got instead of the typical one?

    Mmmmm? I wonder.
