Halloween Horror Nights doesn’t officially kick off until tomorrow, September 3rd, but a lot has been going on this week at Universal Orlando in preparation!
One of the highlights of Halloween Horror Nights is the reimagining of Universal’s Tribute Store. This store is fun to visit all year round as it takes on new designs and inspiration, but its annual transformation into a part gift shop, part haunted house shopping experience is truly a thrill. We stopped by today to get a first look!
Let’s head inside! Looks quite spooky if you ask us…
This year’s Tribute Store takes place inside of an insane person’s house, who was just released from Shadybrook Home for the Criminally Insane. This is the same asylum where Jack the Clown was from.
The first two rooms of the Tribute Store are in the house…
…followed by a room that has busts of all of the icons.
You forget for a moment that you’re in a store!
The level of detail in the Tribute Store is top-notch!
Next up is a Conservatory which is where you’ll find all of the Beetlejuice merchandise.
The fourth and final room is where you’ll find the tasty treats!
Plus, there are letters and journal entries scattered throughout the Tribute Store. If you read them, you’ll see them grow more and more insane as you make your way through.
See if you can spot them all!
Eventually, you will see that the central character has been captured once again by Shadybrook and taken back to the asylum in a stage coach.
However, things don’t go according to plan — at the end, you will see that the stage coach has mysteriously crashed, setting the central character free.
As you follow the story through the Tribute Store, you’ll find an assortment of Halloween Horror Nights merchandise available for purchase.
Don’t forget to pick up a souvenir while you’re here!
Be sure to check out the Tribute Store during your visit to Halloween Horror Nights! And stay tuned for more coverage as we check out the grand opening of Universal’s after-hours event this fall!
