There are all kinds of roles you could potentially work in at Disney World.
Recently, Disney has been hiring quite a few Cast Members for a variety of roles and has placed hiring posts online for jobs at Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and an important position at Casey’s Corner. Disney even hosted an online hiring event recently. But now, more job positions have been posted and those who get hired have the potential to get a big bonus.
On August 11th, Disney posted information about 2 different hiring fairs — a Housekeeping Job Fair and a Culinary Job Fair.
The Housekeeping Job Fair is set to take place on August 24th and 25th from 9AM to 5PM. Those who attend will get the chance to meet Housekeeping Leaders and Recruiters and learn more about the team. Disney notes that qualified candidates will have the chance to apply and interview on site and some may even be hired on the spot.
If you can’t attend the fair in person, you can apply online and attend a virtual interview. But, what really stands out about this job posting is the potential to earn a big bonus!
According to the Disney post, there is a $1,000 new hire bonus incentive! There are certain things the Cast Member must do to be eligible for the bonus, which you can see below, so keep that in mind.
The situation is somewhat similar for the Culinary Job Fair. That job fair is also set take place on August 24th and 25th from 9AM to 5PM. Those who attend will be able to meet some Chefs and Recruiters to learn more about the positions available. There will also be opportunities to apply and interview on the spot, and some candidates could be hired on the spot.
Or, you can apply online and attend a virtual interview. There is also a $1,000 new hire bonus available, but it only applies to certain culinary roles.
And again there are certain requirements that have to be met to obtain this sign-on bonus, so just keep that in mind.
So, if you’ve been hoping to be hired by Disney and are interested in a housekeeping or culinary role, you could attend one of these fairs, apply for some of these positions, and potentially get a $1,000 hiring bonus.
We’ll keep an eye out for more updates and let you know what we find.
