One of our top tips about visiting Disney World is all about your feet — because your feet will take a beating with all the walking you’ll be doing at the parks, resorts, and at Disney Springs.

If you ask us, the most important thing you can pack in your suitcase is the perfect pair (or two or three!) of shoes that will keep your feet as comfortable as possible.
So we asked our staff which shoes they prefer when trekking all over Disney World every single day. These shoes have spent countless hours waiting in line for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. They’ve done time at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and walking all over EPCOT during festivals.
These are our tried and true brands, so we’re sharing them with you.
Skechers Go Walk
The thing we love most about Skechers Go Walk sneakers is the memory foam insoles — these shoes make you feel like you’re walking on a cloud, even when you’re spending a lot of time on the pavement.

They’re generally very comfortable and don’t require a lot of breaking in (although we still recommend breaking shoes in before you wear them to Disney World). These run anywhere from $39.54 to $138.28, depending on the color and style. Your feet will thank you.

Adidas Superstar
The Adidas Superstar sneakers are simple but stylish and can handle several loops around the World Showcase while still being light enough that they don’t make your feet sweat uncontrollably in the Florida heat.

These will run you anywhere from $25.78 – $184.47.

Hoka One
The Hoka One is a running shoe, although we like it for walking, too. Granted, we have spent time running in these shoes, too — trying to get to a Disney World shop before an item we just found out about sells out! And they make that a lot more comfortable, too!

Even at the end of the day, this shoe makes us feel like we’re walking in cushioned bliss. They run from $179.90-$316.83.

Brooks Ariel
Okay, so we like the “Ariel” name in the Brooks Ariel shoes, but we love Brooks running shoes because they offer so much comfort to the feet, especially after long days at the parks.

These shoes feature a lot of cushioning and support, and trust us — that’s what you want at Disney World. They cost $159.95.

Nike Tanjun
One of our absolute favorite shoes to hit the parks is the Nike Tanjun. They’re comfy, lightweight, and can take a real beating (and that means they’ll easily handle a few laps around EPCOT).

These sneakers are priced around $130 (although you can sometimes find them cheaper if you shop around), but you’ll be wearing them for YEARS because they really hold up.

Chacos Classic Sandal
It’s time to talk about sandals because even sneakers can feel too hot in the summer at Disney World. But comfy sandals are hard to find. That’s why we love the Chacos Classic Sandal — it lets our feet breathe, but it’s a shoe you can walk all over Disney World in, too.

These are pricey and run from $64.25 – $136.37, but your feet will thank you.

Rainbow Sandals
We don’t normally recommend wearing flip flops to Disney World, but some people prefer them, so if you’re going to wear flip flops, wear ones that are made for loads of walking. Rainbow Sandals are probably the comfiest of flip flops.

The best part? They look stylish, too. You can grab a pair for around $59.

Birkenstock
We’re going old school with this recommendation, but let’s face it — Birkenstock Sandals are probably some of the most comfortable sandals on the planet. The contoured cork footbed pretty much melds to your foot shape, meaning you get all-day comfort.

And these just slide on, so if you want to kick your shoes off and jump in a splash pool, GO FOR IT. These shoes run from $89.95 – $241.22. And they last FOREVER.

Crocs
It might be trendy to hate on Crocs, but we, like many of our readers, know that Crocs Classic Clogs are PERFECT for Disney World. Not only are they comfortable, but they’re also waterproof, so you don’t have to worry about squishy shoes after a random Florida thunderstorm (and that happens more often than you think).

Crocs come in a lot of different styles and colors, too. You can grab a pair of the Classic Clogs for around $30.

These are our top recommendations for comfy shoes to wear to Disney World, but we also have a tip: always take more than one pair of shoes — you’ll want to change from day to day to keep your feet as happy and healthy as possible.
