Growing up in a (formerly) vegan household, Disney has been a haven for me over the years! There’s a lot more than just salad for vegans in the Disney Parks; you’ll also find tasty snacks, many of which saved the day for me and my family in our most “hangry” moments!

Disney is typically very accommodating when it comes to dietary requirements. Table Service spots are usually able to accommodate most needs with advance notice, and there are plenty of Quick Service and snack options available.
Today we’re taking a bite out of the best vegan treats at Walt Disney World!
Dole Whip — Aloha Isle & Other Locations
Dole Whip is one of those classic treats that’s synonymous with Disney World. Thank goodness it’s vegan! You can find this delicious, citrusy treat at locations like Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom, Pineapple Lanai at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, and Tamu Tamu Refreshments at Animal Kingdom!

Not only is there the traditional Dole pineapple flavor, but there are also plenty of other options like lime, coconut, raspberry, and twists. And occasionally we see Dole Whip used in specialty treats like the Kakamora Float.
Popcorn — All Parks
Another classic treat that’s vegan is Disney’s popcorn (which is surprising since the popcorn still has strong butter flavor). Found all over Disney World, munching on some popcorn is a classic pastime. Plus, there are tons of cute souvenir popcorn bins to collect!

This crunchy treat can be especially handy in a pinch since there’s almost always a popcorn stand nearby. There’s something about Disney popcorn that’s extra delicious; it’s magic!
BBQ Jackfruit Burger — Regal Eagle
A barbecue smokehouse isn’t the first thing that comes to mind when you think “vegan”, but think again! The Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the America Pavilion of EPCOT has a delicious BBQ Jackfruit Burger, the perfect substitute!

This dish features a Plant-Based Burger on Garlic Toast topped with BBQ Jackfruit, Plant-Based Mayonnaise and Lettuce. It’s a filling and satisfying meal that lets vegan diners enjoy some BBQ! Â
Plant-Based Totchos & Vegan Cheddar Sandwich — Woody’s Lunch Box
There’s not one but TWO vegan treats at Woody’s Lunch Box in Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The first snack is the Plant-Based Totchos (tater tot nachos) with vegan chili, vegan cheese, green onions, potato barrels (tater tots), and corn chips! The second savory vegan bite is the Vegan Cheddar Sandwich with melted vegan cheddar cheese sandwiched between two pieces of vegan sourdough!

This spot is a definite crowd pleaser and great for kids. The totchos are soooo good and are something unique and refreshing! The cheddar sandwich is perfect for the youngsters or anyone craving a good vegan grilled cheese!
Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl — Satu’li Canteen
Satu’li Canteen in Avatar: the World of Pandora in Animal Kingdom is a spot known for its fresh and somewhat unusual (at times) eats (looking at you cheeseburger pods!). Not only does this spot serve up meaty customizable bowls, they also have a yummy vegan option. The Chili-Spiced Crispy Fried Tofu Bowl has Crispy Fried Tofu seasoned with Chili-Spice that’s topped with Crunchy Vegetable Slaw and Boba Balls with a choice of base and sauce!

The boba balls, slaw, and tofu make for an interesting combo of flavors and textures that make this way better than your average salad! Â This is definitely one of the more veggie-heavy treats on here, but it’s still a satisfying, filling bite!
Everything — Erin McKenna’s Bakery
Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC in Disney Springs is like allergy-friendly heaven! Everything on the bakery’s menu is vegan AND gluten-free, so this is a great spot for everyone.

From cupcakes to cookies, this spot has everything. You truly can’t go wrong. Call ahead to inquire about delivery options, and be sure to look for Erin McKenna options in your Resort’s pastry and refrigerator cases; sometimes you’ll get lucky and find some.
Sorbet — Vivoli Il Gelato, Gelateria Toscana, and L’Artisan des Glaces
Sorbet is an “old reliable” in the world of vegan desserts, and three spots in Disney World serve great ones. Vivoli Il Gelato in Disney Springs, Gelateria Toscana in the Italy Pavilion of EPCOT, and L’Artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion of EPCOT all serve delicious sorbets that are vegan.

Vivoli serves lemon, mango, orange, strawberry, and coconut while L’Artisan serves mango, strawberry, raspberry, and piña colada and Gelateria serves lemon and strawberry sorbet. Flavors can change, so be sure to check out the menus when you’re onsite.
Ube Doughnut — Everglazed Donuts
Everglazed in Disney Springs is famously known for its out-of-the-box doughnuts, crazy shakes, and great coffee, but did you know one of their doughnuts is vegan? That’s right, the Ube Doughnut at Everglazed is vegan! What’s ube you ask? Â It’s a purple yam found throughout Southeast Asia and Pacific Islands like Hawaii.

This doughnut is the perfect morning or late-night pick-me-up from one of Disney Springs’ most imaginative spots! This is definitely a must-try for any vegan looking for a great doughnut in Disney!
Ronto-less Garden Wrap — Ronto Roasters
Ronto Roasters in Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios serves up all sorts of roasted wraps, and they even have a vegan option. The Zuchii Wrap is made with Grilled Zucchini, Smoky Chickpea-Onion Slaw, Creamy Garlic-Tahini Sauce, and Fresh Cilantro wrapped in Pita Bread, wrapped in Pita.

Ronto Roasters is a hit Quick Service spot in Galaxy’s Edge, so it’s no surprise that their vegan option is just as delicious as the rest of the menu.
The Curry Rice Bowl with Tofu & California Burger — ABC Commissary
ABC Commissary in Hollywood Studios is another spot with some great vegan eats. The Curry Rice Bowl with Tofu features Crispy Pineapple-marinated Tofu and Sautéed Vegetables tossed in Red Curry Sauce served with Jasmine Coconut Rice! Meanwhile, the California Burger features Seared Farm Fresh Plant-based Burger with Sriracha Mustard and Balsamic-glazed Grilled Peppers and Onions with a Vegan Mayonnaise-Ketchup blend, Lettuce, and Tomato!

If you’re in need of a good Quick Service vegan meal, this is the spot for you! The Curry Rice Bowl with Tofu is flavorful and filling with plenty of spice and heat. Full of complex flavors, the California Burger is not your average burger, it’s better.
Eating vegan at Walt Disney World has become a lot easier over the years. With the plant-based leaf logo on menus across the World and chefs and managers open to accommodating whenever possible, it’s a good time to eat animal-free on vacation.
