So just in case you missed some of the biggest news this week, let’s get you caught up!
Disneyland Paris Brings Back Annual Passes and Introduces NEW FastPass Program
It looks like Disneyland Paris will be the first Disney Park to resume its Annual Passholder program. Like at Disney World, no new Annual Passes have been on sale since the park reopened, but the Paris location will begin offering Annual Passes again as of July 15th. Guests will soon be able to purchase the Discovery, Magic Flex, Magic Plus, and Infinity Passes on the Disneyland Paris website.
However, the most surprising news coming out of Disneyland Paris is about its FastPass program. The resort is bringing back FastPasses, but guests will have to pay for the privilege now — Disney Premier Access to the parks will begin this summer and cost €8 to €15 per guest and attraction to enter a designated Premier Access queue (aka a FastPass-like line).
Most interesting is that the price for this premier access will fluctuate depending on the attraction and the time of day the guests are visiting.
Hotel Reopenings at Disney World
As Disney World begins to return to normal, Disney has finally announced reopening dates for four more hotels. We now have reopening dates for Disney’s All-Star Music Resort on September 16th and Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort on December 9th.
We also got reopening dates for Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts — guests will be able to at Port Orleans — Riverside as of October 14th and Port Orleans — French Quarter as of October 28th. Reservations are currently open for all four hotels.
Halloween Time Returns To Disneyland
Great news for Disneyland guests — Halloween Time will return to Disneyland Resort on September 3rd, 2021 through October 31st. Halloween decorations will return to the park, along with costumed characters, special treats, and Halloween-themed rides. This includes the return of Haunted Mansion Holiday, the overlay of the Haunted Mansion that brings Jack Skellington and friends to the house of 999 Happy Haunts.
A new activity will also debut this year — Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit is a Halloween-themed pumpkin hunt through the park. And the Oogie Boogie Bash, a special-ticketed Halloween event, will return to Disney California Adventure.
EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Menus Released
We finally have the menus for the 2021 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival. The festival kicks off on July 15th and runs through November 20th with many returning food booths, but also with seven brand new outdoor kitchens.
Disney World guests will have a good long time to check out all the food, activities, and entertainment this year.
Disney Wish Dining Details
The more we learn about the Disney Wish, the more ready we are to hop on a cruise! And now we have more details about some of the dining spots on the ship. There’s the Worlds of Marvel restaurant called Avengers: Quantum Encounter, which will immerse guests in an Avengers mission led by Ant-Man and The Wasp.
There’s also Marceline Market, which will include 10 food stations with both indoor and outdoor seating. It will be a “walk-around” experience for breakfast and lunch but will be a table service restaurant for dinner. The Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods will feature food stations with a variety of cuisines available “on the go.”
Whew — that’s a lot of HUGE news, but we’ll keep you updated on ALL Disney news, so be sure to stay tuned.
