More restaurants are reopening in Disney World soon!
Today Disney announced that Citricos will reopen at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa next month on July 15th with a brand new look. And, that’s not the only new thing coming to the restaurant — it will also reopen with a brand new menu and we’re taking a look at all the changes you can expect!
First up, let’s check out the starters! The menu has always featured select appetizers and soups and salads and now they’re all combined with lots of new additions to the menu. Now, you’ll find items like Sweet Corn Bisque, Strawberry Salad, Smoked Duck Breast, and more.
The entree menu has also received a major overhaul with dishes like a Butter-poached Florida Cobia, Guava Barbequed Short Ribs, and House-made Rigatoni.
And, if you’re hungry for more, you can choose from a variety of sides for your meal including Truffle Macaroni & Cheese, Smoked Cauliflower, and Grilled Marble Potatoes.
But, the changes don’t stop there! There will also be new dessert selections including a Warm Apple Rose with seasonal apple, marzipan layers, and frozen coconut milk and the Chocolate Torte, which is a dark chocolate financier with dark cherry compote, and vanilla bean mascarpone cream, and more.
Citricos will also feature a new specialty dining experience called the Exclusive Sommelier Room, where guests can enjoy an “elevated food and wine experience” with wine and cocktail pairings that were designed by Sommelier Israel Perez and Chef Andres.
Reservations for the restaurant will open on July 1st and will be available for booking 60 days in advance. Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more menu updates around Disney World, so stay tuned for more!
