NEWS: Florida's First Cruise in Over A Year Sets Sail Today

Cruise ships throughout the United States have been at a standstill since health and safety requirements placed all cruise trips on hold.

However, that standstill ends today as a Florida cruise ship sets sail for the first time in over a year.

According to Click Orlando, Celebrity Cruises will be launching the first cruise in the United States since last year from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 99% of those on board are vaccinated, which is over the threshold requirement of 95%.

This trip is the first of many upcoming cruises from Celebrity and many other companies.
