Disney World’s Maya Grill Will Reopen With an UPDATED Menu!

There’s another restaurant reopening in Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort this month!

Since the resort reopened to guests last year, there have only been a few select restaurants available, but Disney announced just a few days ago that Maya Grill will be opening on June 24th for dinner. And, now we’ve got a peek at the menu and there are quite a few new offerings and updates!

Let’s start off with the appetizers, shall we? There will be six starter options and three salads for those who are interesting in beginning their meal with some Mexican-inspired favorites.

But, there are a few changes to the menu including a change of ingredients for the Empanada de Barbacoa, which used to be made with Chipotle Sauce and Queso Fresco. And, the Queso Fundido, Camarones, Tlayuda, Ensalada Yucatan, and Sopa de Tortilla are no longer on the menu.

There are also quite a few changes to the entree menu, and now you can find eight options including Chicken Enchiladas (and a plant-based option), Rib Eye Tacos, and a Bacon Cheddar Burger.

And, the menu features a new fajita skillets option, so you can do some more customizing on your meal if you’d like or share with a group!

The sides menu has expanded to include three more items including Plantain Rice, Fried Plantains, and Seasoned French Fries.

But, there are fewer dessert options now, with the return of Mango or Lime Sorbet, and new menu items including the Impossible Cake and Fried Baby Churros.

If you’ll be dining with kids, entrees like the Quesadilla, Macaroni and Cheese, and Chicken Tacos will be available once again. Plus, there are two brand new dessert options including a Chocolate Brownie and Cotton Candy Cheesecake.

Maya Grill will also feature an expanded drink menu with specialty beverages and beer selections…

…a large wine menu that can be purchased by the glass or bottle…

…and new cocktails…

…and tequila. So, you’ll certainly have a lot of drink options to choose from!

Maya Grill is just one of many Disney World restaurants reopening in the coming weeks (including ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort), so guests will soon have even more dining locations to choose from!
