The closures of the Disney World parks had a major effect on Cast Members.

Over the course of the closures and reopenings, Cast Members were furloughed, programs were canceled, and some Cast Members were even laid off. We saw a round of hiring kick-off last month and now there are even more positions available in Disney World.
Disney World has posted a hiring notice for Part-Time Food and Beverage Quick Service Restaurant Cast Members at Walt Disney World. These roles receive a starting rate of $14 per hour.

Quick service Cast Members will work in a fast-paced environment to take orders, prepare food, maintain food safety, and more. This role also requires full availability for any shift, a minimum of three days per week (including nights and holidays).

Applications are being accepted now so if you’ve always wanted to work in the Most Magical Place on Earth, this could be your chance! You can check out the full list of requirements and submit your application here.

I just hope Disney can fill the job openings. Here in TN, many quick serve restaurants still have lobbies closed to public due to lack of available workers to staff the inside sales.
I am glad people are starting to get more job opportunities at Disney World!!! Hopefully this is a sign that things are heading in the right direction at Disney World!!!!??????????
