We Just Can’t Wait to WORK OUT With Disney’s New ‘Lion King’ Routine!

If you’re trying to decide whether to stay true to your workout routine or watch one of your favorite Disney + movies this evening, consider doing both!

runDisney posted a new training routine based around the classic film, The Lion King — inspiring Disney fans of all ages to get up and exercise along with the movie.

Much like runDisney’s other movie workout programs — featuring our fabulous princesses from Tangled and Beauty and the Beast — this new Lion King workout prompts you to plank, arm circle, triceps dip, or perform a number of different exercise routines after specific movie moments.

The workouts aren’t ridiculous — they’re not going to tell viewers to do 200 crunches every time Simba shows up, or plank for however long a song lasts during a scene. Rather, runDisney has picked moments throughout the movie which will prompt a challenging yet doable routine.

Sure, Nala doesn’t “pin down” Simba all throughout the movie, but she definitely does it enough times for us to feel those 5 bridges working out our core! We’ll be on the lookout for future Disney workouts, so keep checking back for more calorie-burning updates!
