Did We Just Find One of the Best VALUE Meals in Disney World?

If you’ve been following along with us for a little while now, you probably know that one of our favorite ways to pass time in Disney World is snacking!

Cinderella Castle

And, there is certainly no shortage of tasty eats and drinks in the parks and resorts! This week we tried a few new seasonal treats, brand new menu items at the newest donut shop in Disney Springs, and returned to an old favorite. So, let’s get to the best things we ate this week in Disney World!

Here are the 5 BEST things we ate (and drank) this week in Disney World!

Lemon Raspberry Tart

There are quite a few Disney fans who are missing sailing on the Disney Cruise Line, so Disney has given us a few ways to get our fix on land and one of those is a new treat at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort! The Market at Ale & Compass now has a Lemon Raspberry Tart that is made with white and blue striped white chocolate glacage, a gold-dusted white chocolate wheel, and a chocolate rope on top of a raspberry and lemon mousse.

Lemon and Raspberry Mousse Tart

This one almost looked too good to eat, but you know we can’t resist a Disney treat.

Now, there was a bit more raspberry flavor to this one than lemon — just look at how much more raspberry is in there when you cut in — but that didn’t stop us from devouring the entire thing!

Look at all that raspberry!

The shell added a great crunch and the mousse paired perfectly, adding a creamy, buttery flavor. You can give it a try for $5.49 right now!

Simply Rainbow

Over at Disney Springs, we stopped by the Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar to check out one of their new monthly offerings — the Simply Rainbow. This drink is made with Simply Orange, Tito’s Vodka, Blue Curacao, and Grenadine, and then topped with a toothpick of gummy bears. And, this one was REALLY fun to look at!

A drink topped with gummy bears?! Sign us up!

Of course, we gave it the photoshoot it deserves before taking a sip of the (VERY) sweet drink. One thing we’d suggest though is stirring this bad boy before you take a sip — you’ll thank us. If you’re looking for a drink that could also pass as candy, you can get this one for $16.

Saimin Ramen

After our sweet drink, we were passing by Morimoto Street Food (the counter service option at Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs) and saw that there was a new ramen bowl in town that we had to give a try! The Saimin Ramen is a Hawaiian-style Ramen with a Dashi Broth, noodles, roasted pork, bok choy, scallion, and egg.

And, we are SO glad we stopped to get this one — all of the ingredients were super flavorful and we even got a little hint of sweetness. Plus, the serving size was pretty hefty for $16, making it a great value in Disney World! It’s certainly worth a try if you’re wanting to find something more than the usual burger and fries in Disney.

Butterscotch Caramel Craze Donut

We’re not done at Disney Springs just yet — we also stopped by Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew to try their THREE new donuts! Now you can find a Nutella Boston Cream donut, a S’mores Galore donut, and a Butterscotch Caramel Craze donut and that Butterscotch one was a winner for us! It is a caramel iced donut, with butterscotch chips, and caramel corn and we must say — it is a butterscotch lover’s dream.

The butterscotch is the main flavor that you’ll get from this one, but there’s also a nice hint of caramel from the caramel icing. Oh, and we need to mention just how good this one smells. Just opening up the lid is enough to make your mouth water. If you want to give any of the three new donuts a try, they’re now on the menu for $5.50 each.

Dole Whip Piña Colada Slushy Float

With all the new treats to try in Disney Springs, we had to return to one of our favorites, and (you probably can guess it) it involves Dole Whip! The Dole Whip Piña Colada Slushy Float is a permanent menu item over at Marketplace Snacks and is made with a Piña Colada Slushy on the bottom and then topped with a big serving of Dole Whip.

An old favorite!

You can spice this one up a bit and get it served with your choice of rum (Captain Morgan Spiced Rum or Malibu Coconut Rum) for $13.25, or opt for the non-alcoholic version for $5.99. And, no matter how many ways we try Dole Whip, this is one of our favorites thanks to the refreshing mix of the pineapple and coconut flavors!

Well, that’s it for another week of eating and drinking out way through Disney World! And, it looks like Disney Springs just might be THE place to be for snacking right now! We’ll be giving some more new snacks a try this week, so stay tuned for the latest Disney food news!
