When Disney World reopened last year, there were a lot of new health and safety measures in place.
We’ve seen the addition (and changing) of mask policies, temperature checks, and social distancing. As well, Disney has also added several hand sanitizer stations and hand washing stations around the parks and resorts. But today, we noticed that several hand washing stations were missing!
When we were visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom this morning, we spotted an empty spot where a hand wash station used to be. If you look on the ground next to the trash can, you can even see where the pavement is darker.
We asked a Cast Member about it and they reached out to the custodial department to find out more. We were told that all the Animal Kingdom stations have been removed from the park, and sure enough, we didn’t see any others in their typical spots!
We also noticed that one of the stations had been removed in Magic Kingdom. There used to be one located here, next to this fountain in Fantasyland.
However, there are still plenty of hand sanitizer stations spread throughout the parks for guests to use. You’ll find these in various locations around the parks, including at the exit of many rides and attractions.
We’ll make sure to keep you updated with all the health and safety changes around the parks and resorts, so stay tuned to AllEars! We’re visiting Walt Disney World daily to bring you the latest news!
