D23 has released details about the upcoming Descendants: The Royal Wedding animated special! Fans will be able to watch Mal and King Ben on their happy day when the special premieres this summer on the Disney Channel.
Descendants: The Royal Wedding will include the voices of the original cast in the animated special, including Dove Cameron, Sofia Carson, Booboo Stewart, and many more! It will also acknowledge the late Cameron Boyce’s absence as Carlos in the storyline as well as his memory in the premiere.
Descendants: The Royal Wedding will be directed by Salvador Simó, produced by Le Cube, and written by Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon.
