Two of Disney’s monorail lines were down for technical difficulties today.

As construction at the monorail station continues at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and the monorails themselves get refurbished, we’ve been paying a lot of attention to this classic transportation system. But when we tried to travel from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort today, we noticed the monorails were having some issues.
Both the Express Line and the Resort Line went down and were stopped at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

A Cast Member cited technically difficulties, but added the lines would hopefully be back up and running soon.

Guests had to be evacuated from the monorail podium, but no further information was provided.

We did spot the Express monorail passing Disney’s Polynesian Resort just a little while later, so it seems like it was a quick fix! We’ll keep you posted with any further news, so stay tuned to AllEars.
