Over the past year, we’ve seen both big and small businesses struggle through the impact of the global health crisis.
Today, it was reported that Disney Executive Chairman Bob Iger and his wife Willow Bay have donated to help some of those affected.
According to FOX Business, the couple has donated $5 million to help out small businesses in Los Angeles that are struggling due to the ongoing pandemic. Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti announced the donation during a news conference on Thursday, thanking the pair for their generosity.
The multi-million dollar donation will help about 1,000 of the hardest-hit businesses in the city’s various neighborhoods.
