NEWS: Both Parks at Universal Orlando Have Hit Capacity Again Today!

Universal Orlando has become quite a popular destination over the past few months.

With all the great holiday food, VIP tours, and entertainment, we’re seeing the parks at capacity almost every weekend of this holiday season! And it seems like this weekend is no exception!

Universal Orlando recently tweeted that as of today, December 19th, at 11:01AM EST, both Universal Studios and Island of Adventure were at capacity, which means both parks are closed to further guests for now.

However, the tweet did indicate that Universal expected that both parks would reopen later this afternoon. There’s also a capacity hotline number that visitors can call to get updates: 407-817-8317. 

We expect this to be the case for most weekends leading up to New Year’s Day, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated on Universal Orlando’s capacity as we get more details!

Update: Universal Studios has reopened to all guests as of 3:33PM EST.
