NEWS: Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine Has Been Approved by the FDA

As we continue to see a rise in health and safety regulations in airports, theme parks, and more, we’ve been keeping a close eye on new developments with the ongoing pandemic.

Just last week, the Pfizer vaccine was approved by the FDA for emergency use, and was the first vaccine to be approved. Now, the FDA has just authorized the use of another coronavirus vaccine.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, the Food and Drug Administration has approved the second COVID-19 vaccine developed by Moderna for emergency use. Doses are set to arrive across the country on Monday.

The vaccine is very similar to the Pfizer vaccine that was approved last week and is currently being used all over the country. However, it does not have to be stored at ultracold temperatures and comes in smaller doses. This comes after cases continue to rise and after California reported the highest daily number of cases seen in a U.S. state.
