2020 is the 20th anniversary for Disney pin trading!
Just when we feel like we have seen every pin on Disney property, new ones pop-up! We’ve seen some super unique pins lately like the new Mando pin, and some limited edition holiday pins!
Today in EPCOT, we found some new newsworthy pins–literally! These pins come with a news story attached! We love how this adds backstory to the pins that we wouldn’t normally get.
The first one is the 13 Pin which refers to a group of 13 Disney villains. In the news story, we can see that the Evil Queen brought these villains together on one of the darkest days, Friday the 13th! The story adds so much depth to the pin!
In the Millennium Celebration Pin, we honor EPCOT’s Millennium Celebration! This was a short-lived Disney event, but it focused on human potential and future possibilities. Sounds pretty on brand for EPCOT!
Both of these pins can be found at the Camera Center/Pin Traders in EPCOT or $17.99. These are some of the most unique pins we’ve seen in Disney World, and now we wish they all came with backstories!
