There are lots of exciting projects coming up for Marvel lovers!
For those of you who can’t get enough of the Marvel Universe, there’s a new documentary series coming to Disney+!
Today lots of news about this series, Marvel’s 616 was shared at a D23 event.
Executive producers Sarah Amos and Jason Sterman shared many interesting tidbits about the show, alongside directors Clay Jeter and Brian Oakes. This series will showcase the history, the fandom, the legacy, and the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The documentary will showcase the encapsulating relationship between Marvel and its fans, and how the franchise has become what it is today. In relation to this, Sterman said, “everywhere you go, you can sense the love that people have.”
The topics that some of the episodes will focus on include what it’s like to create a comic book, cosplay, women in the Marvel franchise, and more!
Viewers will learn about the “Marvel method,” describing the collaborative ways that all members of the team worked together, along with creator Stan Lee, to create stories that would add to this universe!
This series will be available to stream on Disney+ on November 20th! It sounds like each episode will introduce something new and really give viewers an in-depth peek into the Marvel universe and we can’t wait to watch it! We’ll continue to update you about future Marvel projects!
