NEWS! Dr. Anthony Fauci States His Concern Over Florida’s Decision to Lift Restrictions on Bars and Restaurants

Last week, Florida moved into Phase Three of reopening as Governor Ron DeSantis passed an executive order that lifted capacity restrictions on restaurants and bars.

Infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci commented on this decision on Good Morning America this morning, remarking that the decision to to lift restrictions is “very concerning.”

In his remarks, Dr. Fauci noted that “when you’re dealing with community spread, and you have the kind of congregate setting where people get together, particularly without masks, you’re really asking for trouble.”

As the nation moves into cold and flu season, Dr. Fauci said that we need to embrace common-sense public health measures to keep numbers down. In the meantime, Disney World has stated that they will not be making any “immediate changes” in response to Florida entering Phase Three.
