Universal Orlando first reopened for guests a little over three months ago now.

As we’ve explored the parks, we’ve experienced an entirely new way of visiting Universal. However, as the parks continue to monitor health and safety situations, modifications will start to pop up around Universal to accommodate guests and Team Members.
Attractions Magazine has reported that Universal Orlando confirmed that they are moving forward into the next phase of their reopening plans. While the parks have implemented mask requirements, temperature checks, and distancing measures since their grand reopening back in June, two of the most popular attractions in Universal Orlando will be seeing some changes soon.
We have been planning toward this for months as part of the next step of our reopening procedures, and we are applying everything we have learned so far. We've briefed local health officials about our plans, and they have let us know they are comfortable with us moving forward.

In guidance from local health officials, Universal Orlando will begin to load every row on The Incredible Hulk Coaster and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit again. While there will be some separation as guests won’t be required to sit next to strangers in the same row, there will no longer be an empty row in between parties when loading for these specific attractions.
Hi Cristian! We are making a modification to our loading procedures for The Incredible Hulk Coaster and Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. To accommodate Guest demand, we will load every row of the vehicle while still ensuring there is separation between Guests onboard.

At this time, the new ride procedures will only be taking place at Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit in Universal Studios Florida and The Incredible Hulk Coaster in Universal’s Islands of Adventure. Since this move is due to the increasing attendance and guest demand, we’ll keep you updated on changes at other attractions around the parks.
These are the 6 ways that Universal Orlando is WAY better than Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Hubby and I flew to Orlando and spent Labor Day weekend at Hard Rock Hotel and visited both parks each day. Everyone was wearing their masks and we received hand sanitizer each time we boarded a ride. I felt totally comfortable staying at the hotel and visiting the parks with the protocols Universal has established. I really feel Universal has fared better than Disney in moving forward. This was our first time at Universal and we will come back again. The virtual queues are quite effective and no crowds were allowed to develop. Well done!
Wow, it looks like Universal is going to lead the way in getting the theme parks back to normal. Someone is going to have to be bold enough to make the call. Glad to see it’s starting to get better and not worse. It’s a step in the right direction that everyone seems scared to take.
