It looks like it’s Christmas in September! Disney has dropped a TON of announcements today regarding what the holiday season will look like in 2020. While there are a few key items cancelled this year like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional, there also seems to be many new, innovative ways that the resort is making the holidays come alive!

For those looking to spend some time in Disney Springs this holiday season, a variety of special events and happenings will be taking place throughout the shopping and dining district!
Disney provided a sneak peek today for what we can expect to find in Disney Springs this holiday season, which officially kicks off on November 6th!

If you’re looking to wave ‘hello’ with Santa Claus, you can do so at Disney Springs. Like at the four theme parks, Santa himself will make a special appearance in the shopping and dining district, waving to guests and spreading holiday cheer.

It also looks like the elaborately decorated trees from the popular Christmas Tree Trail WILL return this year in a modified format. In order to promote physical distancing, the trees will be spread across all of Disney Springs instead of their usual condensed layout.

If you’re looking for some REAL holiday magic, it sounds like it will SNOW in the evening in Town Center, West Side, and The Landing!

Finally, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar will be decked out in all its holiday splendor and transform into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar! A limited-time menu will be available with festive drinks and food items to try!
