Disney Has Unveiled Their Film Release Schedule for 2023!

2023 may seem like a long ways away, but in the world of film production, now is the time to start planning!

We just got a glimpse at Disney’s theatrical film release lineup for 2023, and between them and 20th Century, there’s plenty to get excited about!

Reporter Brandon Davis shared the 2023 schedule on Twitter, including four untitled Marvel films as well as one untitled Star Wars film.

We’re also spotting one untitled Pixar film, and many more animated and live action films! Since these projects are all untitled at this time, it’s hard to determine how many of these films were potential 2022 releases before the closures worldwide shut down production. Already, we know of several Disney films that were delayed further into 2020 and even to 2021, which caused a ripple effect across the company.

Assuming we’re back in movie theaters by 2023, it will also be interesting to see if any of these projects have a release that coincides with a same-day arrival on Disney+. With Mulan skipping its theatrical release in lieu of a straight-to-streaming release via Premiere Access, Disney may start to shake up how they release their films to the public.

From the looks of it, there are plenty of movies to keep us on our toes, and so we will keep a close eye on any Studio announcements that may happen in the months to come!
