We've Got the Official Premiere Date for the New 'The Right Stuff' Series Coming to Disney+!

While you wait for the new LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special and the new season of The Mandalorian to be released on Disney+, you may be looking for a space-related show. Well, you’re in luck!

A few months ago we shared some more details with you about a new series coming to Disney+ for all you space race fans, and now we know when it will be released!

It may not be full of intergalactic travel and little green aliens, but The Right Stuff, a new series coming to Disney+ based on Tom Wolfe’s novel of the same name, may entice those who are interested in the race to space that happened here on Earth.

The series revolves around the story of America’s first astronauts during the Cold War as they work to ensure America makes it into space within an incredibly challenging two-year timespan.

While we knew this series would be coming out this fall, we now have an official release date. Disney+ recently posted on their Instagram account that the new show will start streaming on October 9th.

In describing the show, Disney+ captioned the photo, “To carve their place in the world, they’ll have to leave it. Discover the story of America’s first astronauts in The Right Stuff.” Sounds like we’re in for quite the exciting series!
