If you’ve been binging the popular sitcom on Hulu, you’ve become familiar with the Golden Girls house, the location that was basically its own character on the show. Well, that real-life house just sold to one lucky buyer in California — for well over its asking price.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the 3,000-square-foot, four-bedroom house that was the setting for the popular series is officially off the market. The house was listed for $2.999 million, but ended up selling for approximately $4 million!

The listing agent for the house, Rachelle Rosten, shared with the Wall Street Journal the immense demand for the famous home. “I knew there were a lot of ‘Golden Girls’ fans in the world but I had no idea there were this many,” Rosten said.

While the show takes place in Miami, this Los Angeles property was used for the first season of the show. From there, the show was moved to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where an exact replica of the house was built.

We hope the lucky new buyers will enjoy the home just as much as Rose, Dorothy, Blanche, and Sophia!

    1. That’s a firm no. That house was part of the original Backlot Tour which is the area that Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge occupies now.
