Check Out Which Food Booth at EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival Is Currently Closed!

We’ve been enjoying the sights, sounds, and, of course, tastes of the 2020 Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival.

But, as we walked through EPCOT today, we noticed one of the food booths (or Global Marketplaces) was closed!

Islands of the Caribbean is a brightly colored booth that brings the flavors of the Caribbean to you through a variety of dishes.

The menu includes a Ropa Vieja Empanada served with Tomato Aoili, as well as Jerk-spiced Chicken served with with Roasted Sweet Plantain Salad and Mango Chutney Yogurt.

When we stopped by today, we noticed the booth was closed. The windows were covered up, as were some of the items outside the booth. We spoke to a cast member at a nearby Global Marketplace who indicated that the Islands of the Caribbean booth would not be opening again until further notice.

We don’t know what has caused this closure, but we’ll certainly be on the lookout for more information. In the meantime, we’ll be eating our way around the world at all of the other fantastic booths!
