Earlier this week, Disneyland announced their decision to delay their reopening.
Despite their reopening being delayed, construction for select projects are still ongoing, with highly-anticipated spots like Avengers Campus expected to not incur too many delays. And now, it sounds like another construction project is resuming at the Happiest Place on Earth!
According to the OC Register, construction for the Frontierland gate refurbishment that we had previously reported on has resumed!
A permit that had been filed with the city of Anaheim indicated that the new Frontierland hub entrance will replace the 15-foot-tall faux wooden gates and the 16-foot-long marquee that welcomes guests into the Old West. The project will also see the existing bridge widened to allow for better guest traffic flow.
Construction for Disneyland originally came to a halt when the parks closed back in March, but are now resuming for projects such as this one.
We will continue to keep you updated with any further developments at Disneyland Resort!
