Today, bookings have opened up for tickets, hotels, and vacation packages for 2021 vacations!
Currently, guests can book both room-only reservations, as well as vacation packages with tickets for dates from January 1st, 2021 through September 27th, 2021.
When you are booking tickets, you will get a notification that park reservations are required for your stay.
Notably, as Disney had previously announced, park hopper options are available when booking a 2021 vacation. While park hopping is temporarily suspended when the theme parks reopen, Disney has said that they hope to bring the option back in the future, which is why guests will be able to purchase it as an add-on for 2021 vacations.
Prior to booking, you are also able to check the availability calendar for park reservations. If one or more of the dates are fully booked, you will get a notification telling you so.
We did notice that not all hotels are currently available for booking. Many hotels that have not yet reopened are not listed as available when trying to book 2021 dates. As always, availability could change over time, so we will continue to keep you updated with any further developments!

Had our first Disney vacation dream shattered this March so we were planning to go in October, but everything seems a bit messy so we pushed into 2021, had to book the flight already for next March (or lose our credit from our canceled flight) so we’re locked into that, but if Disney still looks like this we might just do Universal and book Disney later in the year.
