Union Shares Universal Studios Hollywood Is “Hopeful” to Reopen in July

Universal Orlando’s CityWalk is currently open and the park is set to open soon, but so far Universal Studios Hollywood has not announced a reopening date or plan.

Today, The Hollywood Reporter shared that the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees union sent a note to its members stating that CityWalk at Universal Studios Hollywood might be reopening as early as June 8th. The re-opening would be on a limited basis, but Universal has yet to confirm.

The note to union members also stated that Universal Studios Hollywood is “hopeful” that they could reopen the park in July.

As of now, Universal has not made a formal announcement on when the parks or CityWalk will reopen, so we will keep you posted if we hear any more information!
