After presenting their reopening proposal plan, Universal Orlando set a timeline for opening the parks to team members on June 1st and 2nd, invited members on June 3rd and 4th, and an official public reopening on June 5th.
Although Major Jerry Demings approved the health and safety guidelines set in place for the theme park, Universal Orlando needed approval from Governor Ron DeSantis before officially going forward with its reopening procedures.
However, Universal Orlando, Islands of Adventure, and Universal’s Volcano Bay have just announced that their plans have been approved and the parks are moving forward with a June 5th reopening date!
Reservations will not be required to visit the parks during this time, but they will be limiting attendance.
While Universal has not yet confirmed if their soft reopening dates were approved, Annual Passholders received emails shortly after the announcement teasing that “special passholder experiences will be announced soon.”
The parks will be operating under new health and safety guidelines, reduced capacity, and more! Keep checking back with us for further details on the reopenings here!
