NEWS: Disney Confirms Which Disney-Owned Locations Will Re-Open May 27th

After being closed for several weeks, Disney recently announced that Disney Springs at Walt Disney World will be re-opening with third-party stores and restaurants on May 20, 2020.

More details emerged as the union president of UNITE HERE, Eric Clinton, stated there would be a second phase of re-opening of Disney-owned stores beginning May 27th. And now, Disney has confirmed which locations will be opening in that second phase.

According to the Disney Springs website, “we are looking ahead to May 27 when we will begin to reopen more of our Disney owned shops and restaurants, including World of Disney, D-Luxe Burger (Mobile Order) and the Marketplace Co-Op.”

Disney Springs will operate with new, detailed health and safety protocols including limited parking, temperature screenings, increased sanitation, and physical distancing.
