There’s a lot coming to Disney+ this year, with season two of The Mandalorian and The Right Stuff already announced, and it looks like Disney has even more planned for us!
While we’re excited to see a Doogie Howser reboot and sequel to Honey, I Shrunk The Kids come to the streaming service, we just got word of another frightfully funny series that’s in the works!
Disney announced that an adaptation of R. L. Stine’s Just Beyond series of graphic novels has been greenlit. The novels, much like Stine’s previous work on Goosebumps, blend horror and comedy together.
The anthology series for Disney+ is coming from producers David Katzenberg and Seth Grahame-Smith. Smith will also help produce with Katzenberg and 20th Century Fox Television.
A writer’s room for the series is currently being assembled and the series is expected to land on Disney+ in the fall of 2021.
