During this difficult time, Disney has been finding ways for their parks to help those in need, including by donating excess food from Disneyland and Disney World to the Second Harvest Food Bank.

Hospitals are finding themselves overwhelmed across the county, so Disney has stepped up to provide whatever aid they can.
Disney Parks have donated 150,000 rain ponchos to MedShare, a humanitarian aid organization, to distribute to hospitals throughout the country. The ponchos can save on personal protective equipment that might be needed later while still protecting doctors and nurses from direct contact.

Disney has also donated over 100,000 N95 masks to aid New York, California, and Florida. Charles Redding, MedShare’s CEO and President, commented on the situation, saying, “We have to find ways to pool our resources and work together…We appreciate Disney partnering with us to support hospitals and healthcare workers on the frontlines.”
To all our medical personnel working around the clock, thank you!
