The nation is seeing a slew of preventative measures against the spread of Coronavirus, including at the Disney Parks where Disneyland has just announced a temporary closure.

Many have wondered whether the Coronavirus would have an effect on crowd levels at Disney World, which is what we went to investigate at the parks today.
As of today, it doesn’t really look like crowds in Disney World have suffered at all in light of the Coronavirus. Even with the waiving of cancellation and change fees, it appears that many guests are continuing on with their trips.

Take a look at the Spaceship Earth line! When we took this photo it was a posted wait time of 40 minutes, with many other rides seeing fairly regular wait times as well.

And Epcot wasn’t the only park with fairly normal crowds and wait times for this time of year. Many popular rides around Disney World are seeing wait times of above an hour and a half, and some are even above two hours.

Even Mission: SPACE is seeing significant lines! So, as of yet, people sure don’t seem to be staying out of Disney World.

It is worth noting that Disney World has put in place preventative measures to help prevent the spread of the virus. For instance, we’ve spotted a variety of hand sanitizer stations around the resort.

Disney has also offered the additional option on the My Disney Experience app to view where you can find the nearest hand sanitizer station.

Additionally, Disney World has set up portable hand-washing stations around the parks as well, offering a hands-free pump to wash your hands.

While we will wait to see as the situation develops, as of now it would seem that crowd levels are fairly regular at Disney World!

I was at magic kingdom on Mar 10. I saw a total of 3 hand sanitizers. Should be one at every attraction entrance and exit. I saw no hands free wash stations. I saw no wiping down if rides and my Disney app didn’t show sanitizer locations, just checked it still doesn’t have that category
With all of this media hype scaring everyone, I’m not too sure I believe those times listed by Disney. Call me a skeptic but it’s in their best interest of course to go on with the show in true Disney style. The red flag went up when you said “even Mission Space has a 75 minute wait”. lol Nope, something’s rotten in Denmark.
I’m supposed to be at WDW in March 20 for my birthday. I hope they stay opened.
We were going to Hoop Dee Do and Sea World at the end of the month but it looks like we both need to cancel. Sorry.
We are 3 families of 4 travelling together and are scheduled to be there March 29th! It’s not looking good though!
My wife and I are planning on celebrating our fifteenth wedding anniversary at WDW next month.
We r set to check in on the 22nd, I’m afraid to check my phone cause I just know the news is gonna be bad.😩
