The live-action remake of Mulan, coming March 27th, is a lot more action-packed than you might remember, forgoing talking dragons for Wuxia action!

Disney, in partnership with Chase and Visa, have given us a behind-the-scenes look at just how intense the action in this movie really is! We’ve got a preview below!
According to the article, Liu Yifei (Mulan) and many of the other actors did their own stunts, and trained extensively in Chinese martial arts to keep things authentic. Yifei in particular had to use her skill in swordplay, staff fighting, open hand martial arts, archery, horseback riding, and more… on top of actually acting!

Traveling to different locations was also a major challenge, with battles shot in China and New Zealand; areas with dramatically different climates. They went from scorching heat to being snowed in!
