Update:Â As of February 21st, Epcot has reversed the decision and all times are now listed as normal.
If you are planning a visit to Epcot soon, you will want to take note of a few attractions that are about to experience a cut in operating hours.
These changes are set to begin in the coming weeks, and as of this writing, will continue indefinitely.
Starting on February 23rd, several Epcot shows and attractions will begin operating on a reduced schedule. These shows include Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, which will begin operating from 11 AM through 6 PM, a one hour difference from its current operating schedule that goes to 7 PM.
This means that Impressions de France will begin one hour earlier starting on February 23rd, with hours beginning at 6:30 PM instead of 7:30 PM. It will, however, be closing one hour earlier as a result (8 PM instead of 9 PM).
Canada Far and Wide will also be operating on a shortened schedule, closing at 8 PM instead of 9 PM . This also means that, beginning February 23rd, the show will not be available during evening Extra Magic Hours.
Similarly, Awesome Planet, the new film in The Land Pavilion, will be changing over to an 8 PM closing, meaning it will also not be available during evening Extra Magic Hours.
Reflections of China will have a similar time change, closing at 8:10 PM starting February 23rd.
Another schedule change comes from Kidcot Fun Stops, whose activities will end at 8 PM on the 23rd as well.
Finally, the last daily showing for The American Adventure will be at 8:15 PM. This means, in addition to Awesome Planet and Canada Far and Wide, that The American Adventure will not be available during evening Extra Magic Hours.
We are keeping an eye on any additional attractions that may soon experience a cut in operating hours.

I am disappointed. We will need to change some plans to be able to take in all the shows, pavilion movies, etc that I want to. I’m thinking I should re-schedule our dining reservation for 8 pm rather than taking a leisurely meal during the hours these places are open.
wow, takes a chunk of fun out of going at night. It’s almost not worth it. Universal is probably loving this😂. Disney really needs to rethink its PR
Charge more to be in the parks and deliver less entertainment. That’s quite the statement about Disney Corp’s lack of respect for their guests.
Was just about the write the same thing. Epcot is already a hot mess. Now cut hours on select items. Oh and raise ticket prices while we’re at it….. Yeah, makes perfect sense.
