Get Ready to Sail to a Galaxy Far, Far Away With the Disney Cruise Line!

The Disney Cruise Line has a plethora of exciting destinations, but one of the most popular might just be in a distant galaxy. We’re speaking, of course, of the Star Wars Day at Sea, a special event where Jedi, Sith, and Stormtroopers invade your ship for one wild day!

They even have the horns play the Imperial March as Vader makes his rounds!

Now, Disney has confirmed the return of this popular event for cruises sailing in 2021!

Taking place on select cruises sailing from Port Canaveral, the Star Wars Day at Sea features appearances from characters like Chewbacca, C-3P0, R2-D2, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, and Kylo Ren. Jawas and Stormtroopers will also linger around the ship to provide color and atmosphere.

Troopers will also see you off at the terminal… you know, to make sure no rebels board the ship.

Several Star Wars themed events will also be made available, including an oceanic edition of Jedi Training Academy: Trials of the Temple. Costume parties, screenings of the film, and special trivia events will also be spread around the ship, alongside some fun photo ops.

Han-y, I’m hooome!

Past events have also featured some re-theming at the popular Animator’s Pallet dining area, alongside special Star Wars-themed snacks.

The pallet leans a bit toward the dark side, though.

Finally, the night ends with the Summon the Force Deck Party, complete with Fireworks!

Prepare to jump to lightspeed!

You can book these cruises through the Disney Cruise Line website, or through our partners at MEI TravelNow if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to figure out how to fit a lightsaber into my luggage.
