The 2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival is almost here! While not as big as its sister at Epcot, this festival is still a dream for foodies with its celebration of California cuisine!

Much like its Epcot counterpart, the festival features some hard ticked special events to celebrate the culinary culture of California. Registration just opened on the Disneyland website, so here’s an overview of what’s available!

The first event is the Carthay Circle Winemaker Reception. On select Fridays during the festival, California vineyards will host an evening of perfectly paired wines and food, while a winemaker explains the process behind making that perfect vintage. This year, Skywalker Vineyards, Fess Parker Winery, and Silverado Vineyards will all be represented, with tickets going for $110 a person (plus taxes and gratuities).

There’s also a series of Education and Tasting Seminars scheduled for every weekend of the festival! You have a choice between Wine or Beer seminars (held at Golden Vine Winery), or a more hands on Mixology seminar (at Wine Country Trattoria). Tickets are $25 dollars per person (tax included), making this a fun and thrifty way to experience the flavors of California.

But this isn’t just the Wine festival, so there’s also a special culinary experience scheduled on select Wednesdays and Thursdays; the Disney Culinary Adventure Tour. For $99 per person (plus tax), guests can take a backstage tour of Carthay Circle, learning about everything that goes into making the delicious treats available at the festival.Afterwards, you’ll become the chef in a hands-on cooking demonstration!

These are just a few of the many offerings you can expect at the festival, including special merchandise, food kiosks, and a “cooking demonstration” by Chef Goofy that’s sure to be a little wacky.

The festival begins February 28th at Disney’s California Adventure!
