Solve a Mystery with a 1500lb. Polar Bear in “Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made” on Disney+

Have you ever dreamed the dreams of the children? Just imagine the magic their eyes can see… like 1500lb. polar bears that serve as the accountants of their detective agency. Er… that polar bear is imaginary, right?

…Honestly, I have my doubts. ©Disney

Timmy Failure: Mistakes Were Made is the latest original film to hit Disney+. Based on the novel by Stephan Pastis (Pearls Before Swine) and directed by Tom McCarthy (Up), the new film looks at the eclectic world of Portland, Oregon, through the eyes of an 11-year-old detective. Check out the trailer below!

Timmy (Winslow Fegley) is a hilariously deadpan young boy who runs Total Failure Inc, Portland’s best detective agency run by an 11-year-old. Together with his partner Total (the aforementioned polar bear) and his best friend Rollo Tookus (Kei), he’s thrust into a mystery as the Failuremobile (A Segway Timmy’s Mom won in a church raffle) is stolen. The result is a charming and humorous adventure where the border between reality and imagination is blurred.

Ophelia Lovebond, Craig Robinson, Wallace Shawn, Chris Martinez, and Ai-Chan Carrier also star in this adaptation of the popular book series.

The new film will begin streaming on Disney+ on February 7th! And it will screen at Sundance tomorrow!
